my childhood

My name is Sebastian escobar , i am 13 years old and i also had a great childhood. When i was 7 i used to play LEGO with my brother . We invented a lot of adventures and a lot of stories, and always having a great time. One day we bougth a Star Wars space ship. The most fun part of a LEGO thing was construct it so then we could play with it.

Once we constructed the space ship, we had so much fun and we combined it with the other LEGO things. The next day we fougth because i wanted to be the good ones and he two so i trougth the LEGO space ship from the building. The space ship was now a space sheet. My brother got so mad that he didnt talk me in a week.

In the morning of 9/11in 2001, four commercial airlines were hijacked. 2 of the airlines crashed with the twin towers(wtc, world trade center) one of them crashed with the wtc1 and the other with the wtc2. Another airline crashed with the pentagon and the other crashed near shanksville pensylvania .

American Airlines fligth11, crashed with the wtc1 at 8:46 am, hitting betwen the 98 and 94 floor . The wtc1 collapsed at 10:28, a 102 minutes after the flith crashed.

United Airlines flight175, crashed with the wtc2 at 9:02am, hitting between the 78 and 86 floor of this tower. This tower collapsed at 9:59, 56 min after burning.

The Best Group AT School

I think that we should be selected as the best group at our school because we are better than 5 in discipline. I also think that as a team work we are as good as the teachers and we have the best results in Bogota. The big problem is that not always is like that because 7 is better than us as a team work, we are not as good as kinder for discipline and sometimes our results are the worst in the school.

My Hometown Bogota

Bogota is a beautifull city and its also my hometown. This city is so big that just have few natural lanmarks like monserratethat is a mountain besides the city of 3200 meters high and from the top you can see all the beautifull city. There are others landmarks like the bogota river but this river is not a beautifull landmark because it isvery contaminated because of the industries. In bogota we also have swamps like the conejera swamp it is farthe city and its also beside the bogota river.

I was going to space. The day we went, I was very excited but nervous at the same time. The food at the space ship was horrible, but the good part was that there in space, we didn’t have gravity. We had to exercise our body, because when we return, the gravity of the earth, would affect our bodies. We saw a lot of planets and stars and we passed trough the asteroid belt.

We went to the x planet. It was a green planet without atmosphere. This is a gaseous planet with 15 moons. We had to enter in the planet with special cloths because there was no oxygen.

My 13 birthday

My 13th birthday I was in the flight from Canada as an exchange student. My Canadian family, cellebrate this event with a party the day before I left Canada, with some of my Colombian friends that went there too. We were very happy because that was the last day of the exchange. At first we saw a movie called Perfect Score. Later we had a marshmellow war at the back yard where we throw the marshmellow to each other. This was the 5th of October however my birthday was the folowing day at the plane on my way back to Bogotà.

After that day, it was time to go. At six o`clock in the mornig I left Saskatoon on my way to Toronto. I was very tired because I could not sleep. We were sad of leaving our families. After three our in the plane we arrive to Toronto`s airport where we had to stay four more hours.

Finally we left Toronto to spend 7 hours in the airplane on the way to Colombia. When we arrived in Bogota, we were received by our families. We felt very happy knowing that we were at home. But I was much more happy that any one, my family cousins, aunts, uncles, father and friends were there for my birthday. The noise, confeetis, signs and gifts makes me feel the happiest boy in the world.

Tommy and his parents and grandparents went out for a summer picnic with their family. It was a warm July day and they went to one of the local areas in North Carolina. At lunch time when they went to eat, no one could find Tommy. Everyone began searching, but they did not find him. Then someone called the police and a full search was started.

Bear and Brenda were the closest to the area, so they went there. Bear is Brenda´s rescue dog and partner. We checked into the command post and was told where Tommy had been last seen. It was already starting to get dark. Tommy had been missing for over six hours. Bear had picked up Tommy's scent . Bear followed it to a small creek and then he lost the scent. We knew Tommy had gone into the creek, but which way?

Two hours later, they look up all over the creek. Bear found the scent again and they took off. They went through the woods to a small clearing and Bear went to the middle and sat down. This was his way of telling that Tommy should have been there, but he wasn't. During the night a second rescue dog arrived and he came to the same place we were. They searched over 72 hours, but no one find Tommy. Where did a 4 year old boy went?

They were released from the search. No one could find Tommy. The dogs had done all they could do . Brenda loaded Bear into the wagon. Part way down the road, she pulled over and got into the back of the wagon with Bear and cried.
